Paper Handling

The product has an input tray which can hold about 60 sheets of paper at once. The output tray, however, can hold just only 30 sheets. This property might imply that the design of the printer does not support a massive load of prints. It supports various media sizes, ranging from US Letter, Legal to A5. Others include A6, B5, B6, Envelopes, to Ofuku hagaki and other borderless print sizes.

The HP Deskjet 2544 printer has a standard print resolution of 600 x 300 dpi, but the best print mode is at a resolution of 600 x 600 dpi. Copy specifications

The speed at which this device run is up to 4.5 copies per minute (cpm) for black and white. Whereas, the colored text comes at the rate of 3.0 cpm. However, note that the copy speed is dependent on the model of the printer device and heaviness of the document to be copied. The resolution for both black and colored pages copy is 600 x 300 dpi.

Disadvantages

1. No Ethernet connection for networking on this printer, only USB, and Wi-Fi.
2. The printer cannot send nor receive fax
3. The paper load is small and may not be suitable for commercial printing
