This is for a USB Memory Stick reader. The unit and packaging don't mention the brand name!! FCC approved, but no FCC ID on the unit. I am 99% certain I've finally found the manufacturer. This set of drivers were downloaded from the
www.a-tec.com.tw/
web site. Individual results may vary... I haven't had much luck installing or using these drivers on Windows 2000 or XP, but I'm certain they're at least as good as what comes with the unit.
This ZIP includes Windows 2000, Windows 98SE and Macintosh drivers, and it appears it would also work with the CR-V7-UC (Compact Flash) reader and other flash drives from A-TEC.
I've read you can also get it to work in Linux by setting up this USB-to-IDE device as a USB-to-SCSI device, but that may require some hand-tweaking of the Linux ker
